Our partners

Over the past 24 years, OFI has chosen to build partnerships with quality Indian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), recognized and trusted for their professionalism.

OFI's relationships with these NGO partners are long-term and built on trust. OFI and the NGOs coordinate project methodology, assess the coherence of the actions carried out and the relevance of the chosen methods of intervention.

SEVAI Society for Education Village Action and Improvement

A flagship NGO in the socio-economic integration of marginalized local populations. Led by Mr. Govindaraju, SEVAI has adopted an inclusive and sustainable approach to development for 40 years. The programs target different complementary areas: education and health, rural development, and empowerment of women through social entrepreneurship financed by microcredit. In total, integrated development programs benefit 500,000 villagers in Tamil Nadu.

Dream India Network - Bangalore

Dream India Network (DIN) aims at social change through education. OFI supports DIN's home program for street children in Bangalore. More than 110 homes have been created, housing over 900 children in an environment conducive to their development.

OFI currently supports 10 of these foster homes.

Asha Bhavan Center - West Bengal

Located in Howrah in West Bengal, the Asha Bhavan Center has been supporting thousands of children in precarious situations since 1999:

disabled , abandoned, out of school and extremely poor in rural areas.

The organization's mission is to guarantee specialized education, medical care, appropriate vocational training and a safe environment.

2000 children supported in 11 schools.

ICOD - West Bengal

ICOD is helping the marginalized communities of Kolkata, West Bengal. Their mission is the social and economic development of poverty-stricken, abandoned and disadvantaged people of all ages, so that they gain in dignity, equity and self-confidence. ICOD proposes an interfaith center in harmony with nature.

80 disadvantaged people supported.

PARAS PADMA - West Bengal

Paras Padma is a social welfare organization helping disabled children, destitute patients and students. This NGO helps educating and empowering physically disabled individuals,  promoting disabled people's rights among the community and organizing campaigns to detect people in need of orthopedic care.

Gramium - Tamil Nadu

59Established in the neighboring district of Trichy (Kulithalai) since 1991, GRAMIUM has given priority to rural development through waterworks, health, training, educational monitoring of young people and  empowerment of women.

In total, 27,000 women, 40,000 villagers and 200 children now benefit from GRAMIUM's integrated sustainable development programs.

59 watersheds and 4000 ha of land rehabilited.

Vonisha - Bangalore

Vonisha Service Foundation supports families migrating from northern India to Bangalore, faciliting children’s access to quality education. Vonisha has created five “Bridge schools” (4,000 children aged from 6 to 14 enrolled since 2010). Thanks to this program, children learn other languages and are then reschooled in English-speaking schools.

HUT - Tamil Nadu

Human Uplift Trust was founded in 2006. It has created two programs economically supported by OFI:

  • Meikandaar School, an English-speaking school designed to educate 950 underprivileged children near Trichy (from kindergarden to senior year),

  • House of Hope (HOH), a home for 100 children affected by AIDS. It provides education, medical and psychological health care.

  • 950 schoolchildren are enrolled, and 100 children are living at HOH.

ISSAI -Tamil Nadu

ISSAI Trust aims at improving the living conditions of people located in rural areas, of women in particular. The structure creates and implements rural development programs, which include the construction and renovation of reservoirs, the promotion of community organizations, health and emergency relief campaigns, on top of the creation of complementary education programs.
