Adopt a teacher

Adopt a Teacher” is a program to provide extra English Classes in a Tamil medium school for the disadvantaged children.

Under this program, OFI will support SEVAI Bichendarkoil School (180 children) with the salaries of 2 skilled English language teachers.

House of Hope

HOH cares for around a hundred children aged between 3 and 18 affected or infected by AIDS. It
meets all the children's basic needs, and gives them access
to an education in Tamil.
OFI and HOH require regular funding to meet the children's daily needs, as well as
funding for facilities.

Pay 30 € / month * to train 120 women and support them in their efforts to achieve economic and social independence.

Rural development project

Sustainable development

We help rural populations to switch to sustainable and organic agriculture through various actions:

​

  • plantation of fruit trees (50 € for 30 trees),

  • creation of a vermicompost production unit (60€),

  • establishment of vegetable gardens (30 €).
